Our story
A workshop, not a trattoria
VAZO PASTA opened in April 2021 in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon, at the Domaine de Belcombe. Pierre Zakarian founded it. The idea is simple and rather uncommon around here: rather than a restaurant that also serves pasta, be a workshop that makes it — and let people watch.
Every morning the dough is made here. Rolled here. Cut here. The sauces, the fillings, the tiramisu too. What you take home tonight was flour a few hours ago.

Semolina & eggs
Two ingredients, no shortcut. Everything starts with the dough — and the dough starts here, not in a truck.

Kneading
The dough rests and takes on its elasticity. This step decides whether the pasta will hold its bite.

Rolling
Passed and re-passed until the sheet is exactly right. You can watch it happen from the counter.

Cutting & filling
Linguine, spaghetti, radiatori, macaroni — plus ravioli and gnocchi, filled by hand.

Straight to you
Raw to cook at home in 2–3 minutes, or cooked and ready to eat. Same day. Same room.
